Overview

Version 1.8.4 of the V6M6 software and FPGA configurations includes the following changes:

Update for the PM4600 and PM4700 FPGA configuration.
Modifications to diagnostic programs.

Update for the PM4600 and PM4700 FPGA Configuration

The new FPGA configuration for PM4600 and PM4700 modules (pm460027.mcs) fixes timing problems encountered when these modules are installed on version 3 V6M6 base boards.

Note that the same flash configuration data is used for both the PM4600 and PM4700 modules.

Modifications to Diagnostic Programs

For the 32-bit and 16-bit tests in the pcitdm diagnostic, it is possible ot have more DSPs on a V6M6 than can be included in the TDM map. The program has been modified to ensure that at least one DSP on each multi-DSP module is included in the TDM map.

The pcitdmprogram was also modified such that the 8-bit test is the final test mode so that all DSPs will be included in the long-term test performed by the burn-in program.

Some minor changes were made to the pcichip program to solve compilation errors for vxWorks.
